Check out the pedigree on this stunning buck! I am so thrilled to have him join our herds and can't wait to see some kids from this promising young buck.
Call's dam, Rosasharn SH Lyric 5*M 6*D earned her milk star in milk production, butterfat, and protein as a first freshener with 305 days in milk, 720 lbs of milk, 39 lbs protein (5.4%), and 30 protein (4.2%). She was recognized on the 2016 Breed Leaders listing as the longest doe in milk at 403 days in milk (in the one day test category)! She even earned a #3 spot on the 2016 AGS One Day Milk Test for high protein with 5.8% protein at 400 days in milk (and she was still producing 2.4 lbs of milk at that time!) Lyric was 1x RGCH Jr doe and we have been told she will be back in the show ring starting in 2017 as a senior doe! Lyric is a full sister to Rosasharn SH Epic *B VEV 88 (2011 Spotlight Sale buck that sold for $8,700), Rosasharn SH Sonnet 5*M EVEV 90, SG Rosasharn SH Guyku +*B VEE 90, and Rosasharn SH Celtic Ballad VEE 90.
Call's maternal grandam, SG Rosasharn P Haiku 4*M VEEE 91, was the 2010 ADGA National Champion Senior Doe and 2011 ADGA National Reserve Best Udder and was named the 2011 ADGA National Total Performer doe. She was also an ADGA Top 10 Breed Leader in 2010 and 2011.
Call's sire, Rosasharn Prince LiteningWhelk *B EEE 91 is a son of GCH Rosasharn TL Queen Bee 5*M 5*D VEEE 91 who was a 2011 AGS Top 10 breed leader in milk production, butterfat production, and protein production. Queen Bee's show record is impressive, with 3x GCH doe, 5x Best of Breed and 1x RGCH.
We had Call tested for the Alpha S1 Casein proteins and his results came back with the variants of B/B. This is great news if you're into cheesemaking because higher levels of cheese production come from the A and B variants. Call will always pass along a B variant to his offspring. See this link for more info about the Alpha S1 Casein proteins.
This buck brings an astonishing combination of milk production, structural correctness, and impeccable mammary systems. We can't wait to watch this young buck mature and see what he produces.
