His dam, Black Ice, is still competing at age 7 and was the 2015 ADGA National Show 1st place Aged Doe and was also awarded the 2015 ADGA National Show Total Performer Award (which is determined based on DHIA, LA, and placing at the National Show.) Black Ice also achieved an astonishing LA score of EEEE92 at the age of 7 years! Black Ice has also milked over 800 lbs per lactation every year she has been on test.
Ice Man's grand-dam, CRF Castle Rock Blizzard was also Top Ten in the nation in AGS for milk production in a 1-day milk test in 2008 and 2010. She was Top Ten in the Nation in AGS for protein production in 2012.
IceMan's sire, Chicago Peace, is a littermate brother to GCH Castle Rock Sunsilk 3*M who received an LA score of EEEE 91 in 2015. Sunsilk was 5th place at the ADGA National Show in 4 year Old Milkers which is the class that produced that year's National Champion.
